Clinical management and comprehensive treatment of HIV/AIDS: immune enhancement, antiviral therapy and control of opportunistic infections

(1) Immunostimulants: such as interferon-gamma, interleukin-2, bone marrow transplantation and lymphocyte infusion, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment. (2) Treatment of opportunistic infections: This treatment is relatively difficult. First, there are usually no suitable anti-infective drugs; second, initial treatment is effective, but relapse is easy; third, the course of the disease is long and repeated treatment is required. For Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim can be used, or pendimethalin hydroxyethyl sulfonate or pendimethalin. (3) Antiviral and antiretroviral drugs: such as suramin and sodium phosphonate, which limit viral replication by inhibiting enzyme transcription. Ribavirin (triazolidine) has the same effect. Interferon is a natural protein produced by leukocytes and has antiviral effects. (4) Tumor treatment: Radiation therapy has a certain effect on Kasipo sarcoma. (5) Other therapies: mainly psychological and mental treatment.
